Travel Destination planning

I had always intended on going travelling at some point in my life, and it made sense to do it before having any real commitment in my life.

The problem with travelling is there are always so many places to go and so much to see and I have a real problem with feeling like I’ve missed out.

The first question I had was how much can I do for how long and how much will it cost me. Pretty obvious questions really!

I have quite a few friends who have been travelling, predominantly in Asia, and everyone has had an amazing time. I’ve done some pretty decent research on instagram – like you need any other research! And thought it’s a good place to start. There are some downs to travelling SE Asia, and strangely the down side is also an upside – it has become a fast tourist area, which slightly takes away the enjoyment of travelling.

I’ve got to say the pictures of places like Bali, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand really sold it for me. There are so many amazing things to see and do, and so many people doing them that I could see myself there too.

I also decided on SE Asia and Australia because they were the furthest places from where I lived – I wanted to take full advantage of doing as much as I can, for as long as I can as far as I can before having any real commitments.

There are a lot of places I would like to go to and I think Ill do most of them as long holidays (a month or 2) rather than a proper trip. That’s part of the reason why I decided to do an area, which I would need more time to do.
